The journey of Everest Base Camp Short Trek begins spectacularly with a thrilling flight to Lukla is considered an adventurous airport in the world. After landing at Lukla, you trek along the bank of the Dudhkoshi River. Trekkers pass on the villages of Phakding and Monjo before they enter the Sagarmatha National Park Entry Gate. A short hike then takes you to Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa hub. This is a marketplace of Khumbu, the most high-altitude market in the world. As we reach Namche, the sights of Himal, such as Thamserku, Kwangde, Kusum Kangaru, etc., are distinctly visible. Now we walk into the sacred Tengboche Monastery into the Dingboche. You stop at this least dense village to walk into Nagarshan Hill. After this, the trekkers get into the treeless moraine of Everest. Walking via Lobuche, we stop at Gorakshep for this end. Gorakshep is the last stop at the tea house before we make 1.5 hrs of walk to the Everest Base Camp Short Trek. In the base camp, we take as many pictures as possible before we head back to the Gorakshep.

On the next day, we walk early for the sunrise view from the top section of Kalapatthar.
