Your day in Kathmandu can be full of fun activities like sightseeing tours around the valley, wall climbing, skating, etc. Full of some excellent restaurants and hotels, the nights in Thamel are perfect for hunting down Nepalese and international cuisine.

The clear sky and the views of lush green hills accompany you into Nepal. As you land at the TIA’s international terminal, you must fulfill the customs formalities.
Then, you will see our staff standing within the airport arrival terminal with your name card. They will welcome you to Nepal and transfer you to the hotel. The short 30-mins drive from Kathmandu airport to Thamel will show you the best of the capital. As you check into the hotel, you can take some rest to recover from the jet lag.
Later in the evening, you can stroll around the hotel and explore the charming town of Thamel on your own. Afterward, we join a briefing session where we will introduce you to the entire crew and share some vital information about the tour. Lastly, we will enjoy the welcome dinner in the finest restaurant in Thamel. It will be our first meal as a team. After that, you can enjoy the nightlife of Thamel or get to bed.
Overnight in Kathmandu
After breakfast at your hotel, your private vehicle will be ready for sightseeing. This morning you will sightsee in Pashupatinath and Boudhanath. Then after, you will take lunch and move to Kathmandu Durbar Square sightseeing and Swyambhunath Temple. During this time, you can also visit the Nepal museum. After taking dinner, overnight stay at your pre-booked hotel.
Wake up early in the morning to grab our breakfast. Today, we begin our day before as we aim for Pokhara, another beautiful city. The 8 hours of Kathmandu to Pokhara Drive in the luxurious private vehicle will be pleasing. Further, the highway moves along the bank of the Trishuli River as we pass multiple small settlements and a hilltop. After 2-3 hours of driving on the bank of the Trishuli River, we stop at one of the restaurants for lunch. Then we continue the journey to Pokhara.
As we reach Pokhara quite late in the evening, we will have no activities planned for the day. Thus, you can rest in the hotel and enjoy a meal in a restaurant at the bank of Phewa.
Overnight in Pokhara
You need to wake up early in the morning and be ready to go to Sarangkot for the sunrise view of the Himalayas. Other attractions include the graceful view of Mount Fishtail, Annapurna Range, Manaslu, and the beautiful Pokhara Valley.
You can also do paragliding from this point and take land in Pokhara. After returning from Sarangkot, get back to the hotel for breakfast and be ready for sightseeing in Devi’s falls, Gupteshwor Cave, Bindabasini temple, and the international mountain museum. After dinner overnight in Hotel.
After a beautiful time in the city of Pokhara, it’s time to get back to Kathmandu. We begin the drive to Kathmandu in the morning. As we trace our journey back, you will find yourself in the back of Trishuli once again. Further, the same settlements and hills greet us back as we reach Thamel in the evening. You check in to the hotel and have some rest to recover from the drive.
Later in the evening, you can stroll around the hotel for some shopping. Mostly, Hamel has some antique shops and handicraft displays that can be the perfect gifts for your loved ones back home. After that, we will all gather to enjoy the farewell dinner. We celebrate the success of this delightful journey for one last time.
Overnight in Kathmandu
Note: Instead of taking eight hours-long drive, you can choose to fly back to Kathmandu. The 25-minute Pokhara to Kathmandu flight will be scheduled in the morning. If you fly back to Kathmandu, you will have extra time to rest and explore the Kathmandu valley.Breakfast, free time till departure to the international airport, 3 hours before your scheduled flight, with sweet memories of Nepal.
The short Kathmandu Pokhara tour commences as you land at the international airport of Kathmandu. After exploring this beautiful capital city, we move towards Pokhara. In Pohara, we will visit a significant sightseeing spot with a Sunrise view from Sarangkot. If you have time, you can extend your stay in Pokhara. From here, you can do a short hike to Peace Stupa on one day or rafting in the Seti River. After sightseeing all this city’s renowned places before we return to Kathmandu and depart for our other destination.
Kathmandu Pokhara Sightseeing tour is possible any time of the year. There are high chances of landslides on Kathmandu Pokhara road in the summer. So, we recommend you take a flight to Pokhara. You can see greenery everywhere now, and we will provide a discount for group travelers (More than 2 in a group). To do this tour in winter, you need warm clothes. Here it is not too cold like in Europe. The daytime average temperature is approximately 15 degrees Celcius, and nighttime is around 5 degrees.
You can see the white Himalayas from Sarangkot and Pokhara. The Autumn season between September is the best season to travel in Nepal. This is the festive season in Nepal. You can celebrate Dashin and Tihar – Nepal’s two most significant festivals with Nepali people. The clear blue skies, green mountains, and temperature are also pleasant. The Spring season is the equally best time, like the Autumn season.
Lastly, there’s the monsoon. The evening rain in monsoon is quite heavy, but the mornings are straightforward and pleasing. You can visit Pokhara according to your timetable- the weather in Pokhara is good throughout the year.
If you want to add some thrill to your journey, you can extend the tour with trekking and adventurous activities. Pokhara city is the entrance of the Annapurna Region Trekking like Annapurna Base Camp trek, Dhaulagiri Trek, Mardi Trek, etc. Also, you can head for the shorter trek, such as the Pikey Danda trek, Poonhill trek, Ghandruk trek, etc. Moreover, you can add one or more of the adventurous activities listed above on request to your guide. You can also add Homestay experiences in a village-like Siklesh and Tangting.
