Annapurna Base Camp Trek offers a wide range of accommodations. Trekkers can choose among the tea houses available every 4-5 hours walk or can choose to camp at any place they feel safe and connected with nature. The teahouses provide breakfast and dinner, including typical Nepalese staple food and bread. However, tourists can always choose what they want to eat from the tea houses’ menu, which covers a wide range of food, varying from continental to country-specific food items. The price is uniform and is set by the hotel association, which fixes the price for every food menu available at the teahouses.
Safety Tips
Annapurna base camp trek is a moderate trek that does not demand any rigorous mountaineering experience. The base camp is situated at 4130m above sea level. There are various short hikes to help the trekkers acclimate, which help to explore the nearby location without climbing. Best time for Annapurna Base Camp Trek
Spring Season
The best time to trek in the Annapurna Region is from May to August. This season brings extraordinary natural occurrences ranging from greenery to a clear glimpse of the Annapurna Region’s sceneries and mountains. Trekking will be convenient due to the temperature, which will be slightly over 15 degrees Celsius. No probability of precipitation or snow is present. Autumn Season

Winter Season

Annapurna Base Camp Trek Difficulty

Trek Route
The trek route sets out from Kathmandu. Once we get to Pokhara, we’ll begin our trek from Nayapul to Ghandruk overnight. Ghandruk is an ethnical Gurung village. The next day we will trek to Chhomrong. As we move past the settlement of Chhomrong, the magnificent Gurung Settlements will greet us. From Chhomrong, it will take us around 5 to 6 hours of trekking to reach Bamboo (2,350m).
Likewise, we will ascend to the Himalaya Hotel (2,920m) through a pine forest and a Rhododendron wave. We will continue our gradual trek toward Macchapuchre Base Camp (3,700m) while admiring the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and landscapes from the Himalayan Hotel.
We will spend only a little time in MBC and proceed toward Annapurna Base Camp. Following some time at Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) and viewing the surroundings, which include sky-touching mountains like Gangapurna, Hiunchuli, Manaslu, and Ganesh Himal, we will return by the same route.
Physical Condition and Experience
Trekking at altitudes exceeding 4000m demands exceptional stamina and trekking skills. Permits for Annapurna Base Camp Trek
For Annapurna Base Camp Trek, you need two types of permits. One is Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP), and another is the Trekkers’ Information Management System (TIMS). We will arrange both permits for you, and to obtain the permit, you must provide your passport copy and PP-sized Photographs.
